About Us
Sudan Doctors for Human Rights is dedicated to promoting health access and protecting human rights. We believe in advocating for the rights of individuals and communities on the frontlines of health sector.
Vision
Health care and human rights are protected and upheld for all Sudanese.
Mission
To defend and promote human rights within Sudan’s health sector by documenting violations, protecting medical workers and healthcare facilities, and contributing to the protection of the right to health, life, and dignity for all Sudanese.
Awareness & Community Outreach
We conduct workshops and seminars to raise awareness about health-related issues and human rights in Sudan. Engaging with the human rights advocates and proffesionals in the UK is crucial for fostering understanding and encouraging active participation.
Advocacy & Policy Engagment
We work to raise awareness among UK policymakers and encourage them to work closely with Sudanese leaders to improve the healthcare system in Sudan. We also advocate for the establishment of safe corridors for medical aid and humanitarian health organizations, in order to support the right to health in Sudan. Our efforts aim to influence UK decision-makers to play an effective role in advancing the health rights of the Sudanese people
Support & Direct Assistance
We provide direct assistance to vulnerable populations in need of medical care and essential resources. Our organization conducts fundraising activities in the UK to support local Sudanese organizations that deliver critical medical aid on the ground.
